First Visit

Many people who are checking out chiropractic for the first time want to know what they can expect during the first office visit.

• The first visit is usually the longest and most extensive taking 45-90 minutes. (Follow up visits are generally 15 minutes.)

• Complete a detailed history of your problem including information on what you may have already done to resolve it.

• We perform an orthopedic, neurological and spinal evaluation that helps determine what is working, what is not working, and if not, why not.

• If X-rays are indicated, we will tell you about what areas are needed and the reasons.

• We will then share our report of findings.

• Treatment is explained. If you agree, treatment is started.

• We always educate as part of treatment so that you can help us resolve the situation and prevent repeats in the future.

• If a second opinion is requested, or another type of physician required, we are happy to make referrals.
